One of the older London coffee bars and fairly unique – cluttered with roasting machines, grinders and a singular collection of old, silver, rocket-shaped espresso machines. Not to be confused with the Bridge cafe from the Apprentice or other imitators using the same name, it hangs out underneath the bridge at the Shoreditch end of Kingsland Road next door to the tattoo parlour. By day it is an atmospheric little coffee bar with more memorabilia than an antiques emporium, by evening it quietly morphs into a cocktail bar – there is an even more double-atmosphere back room – with, of course, espresso martini, and sometimes live music. No web site but there is an Insta page.
