At the very back of the nearby Marks & Spencer is one of those fake bakeries that the supermarket might wish was more like Karma, not a stone’s throw away – a little bakery that spans New York styles to all parts of the middle east plus foccaccia. The mantra is back to the source. Tami Isaacs calls herself the Challah Queen. She learned baking at the Hampstead Garden Suburb Institute and has become a local institution herself since 2015 for high class sourdough and other breads. Her cream doughnuts are stand out. A second branch is at Brent Cross plus baking classes.
